The 28th February is celebrated as a National Science Day in India every year. It is being celebrated in honor of our Indian scientist Sir C.V. Raman who invented Raman Effect. The discovery by C.V. Raman brought him the Nobel Prize in 1930, the first time for an Indian.
The Department of Science & Technology (DST) has been selecting themes for observing National Science Day every year. Accordingly, the theme selected for the National Science Day, 2018 is “SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE”.
This year, at Ganpat University we have planned to celebrate this day at state level (Gujarat state). We have planned a one day celebration with several competitions. Please find below tentative plan of the event, list of competitions, registration form and Rules & Regulations.
Who can participate?
Regular students (UG/PG) of any Indian university/college located inside the Gujarat State can participate. Winners will get awards and certificate. All registered participants will get certificate for participation.
Interested and motivated students are requested to fill up a registration form. The registration fees are INR 50/- per student. The registration fee includes participation and refreshment.
